Designed by Barry Deck in 1989 and released by Emigre in 1991, Template Gothic has found its way into high and low culture from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum to Joey Buttafuoco. The typeface has been written about by Rick Poynor, Peter Hall and Rudy VanderLans, and continues to show up in strange places. Template Gothic is available for purchase from Emigre.
